my Boa fell

Hi Everyone,
I had my young boa out she is about (28inches)
sitting in my lap. She got to close to the edge and fell about
2 feet the floor is cement.Do you think she got hurt at all
she look ok but someone told me that snakes bruse easy .

If she has no signs of broken ribs and does not act as if she is in pain I would assume that she is ok. Keep a close eye on her and see if she feeds normally. I have had them lung off of counter tops before and drop more then two feet with out any injury.

My 8ft female fell about 6ft, but she landed on carpet. Not a happy snake, but so far she seems ok. Vet checked her out and saw nothing wrong. She has eaten for me since then too. Scared the heck out of me though.

I've had several of my leopard geckos fall from my shoulder to the floor! It's scared me to death each time, but amazingly they've been OK. They're not the brightest creatures (niether is their mom!), but they are resilient.
