Mizar 21 Jul 02, 2004 09:07 AM

I was reading a book at my local library, (a reptile book of course, lol) and i read in there that gecko eat small scorpions in the wild and that they are immune to their sting. Have someone hear about that too ? Dont worry i have absolutely no intention of feedind scorpions to my gecko, lol. I came back to the library last night to buy that nice book and it was already gone...and i'm ashame to tell that i dont take the time to note the autor or title...grrr

I seem to remeber seeing on one of those nature shows something like that. Pretty sure it was not leos, thooough. I would think most scorpions would be too big for most leos.

right. I'm not really much into arachnids. Are you sure it was leopard geckoes that were eating them? That would be a great picture to see (just not my gecko)

I wouldn't recommend it. Try to find some more books on that. I've never heard of feeding scorpions to them, and I certainly wouldn't want to chance it.
