New babies! Food please!

ghackney Jul 02, 2004 12:50 PM

I have 14 new babies and they all have shed as of 6/27. No takers on f/t pinks. How long before you should worry... Give me some ideas on other methods. Scented---Live. How do you scent? Rub the pinks on lizards or use pieces of the lizard? LOL... Thanks Greg

hi, this is will again. One method is to take scissors and make a small cut at the top of a pinkys head just enough for brain fluid to ooze out. some will take on that. the next method can be done with freshly killed or frozen thawed pinks. get a feeder lizard, house geckos and skinks work well too, and put it in a brown paper bag with the pink, and leave it there for a while. another is to cut a limb off of the pink and try tease feeding it, (just dangling it in front). you also want to make sure that if you are using frozen pinks, that you are thawing it correctly. put the pink in luke-warm water for about 45 minutes to an hour. then dip the pinky in super hot water for a second or two. Hope this helps! Looking forward very much to a new grey band! email: thegelatinousmonster@yahoo.com Thanks.
