... hognose that is..

Sorry for the mis-direction but these are about the only colubrids that really interest me these days. I used to be big in the rats and kings and milks (BP's too! oh my).. BOREING!.. still, I won't disallow that some are pretty.

This was taken in Webb county, Texas.. it is a Mexican hognose. H. n. kennerlyi..

Nice pic of that Hognose thanks for posting it.

Here are some pics of a Eastern Hognose that I found last year.
Feisty little guy he should be happy that I found him and not some of the other people around here.
He now live in a very secluded area with lots of toad.

I like the color of that Mexican Hognose it's Beautiful ! !I Bought 1.1 Western Hognose Hatchling's a few year's ago for resale i was amazed how them little 6 inch Hog's Hammered pink's ,I like how they Spead there head and neck in the Cobra Display !There also one of my favorite Colubrid's.

Hognose snakes that is. THere is something kinda boa like about them. I think it is their girth. Few colubrids are as beefy as Hognose.

Nice Mexican Gus! I've seen them in SE AZ. Wish I had them in my back yard though. Very cool.
