I believe this is the smallest. I might not have the latin name right, but I think that's what it is.
Antaresia perthensis, aka "pygmy" or "anthill" pythons, are the smallest, usually reaching a length of around 2 feet. They also are not very well represented in the hobby, and command a high price. The other three antaresia species: childreni (children's), maculosa (spotted), and stimsoni (stimson's) are more readily available in the hobby, and are less expensive. All are small (3-4 ft. as adults), brown pythons with an incredible irridecense when exposed to sunlight. You can scroll down or search the forum to learn more about these species of pythons.
