Does this Mali look like a male or female? The People I got it from said that he was born in october. How does he look? Healthy? How about his coloration?

looks OK to me, but its also just a above shot pic. To tell if male or female.... cant from this pic. u need to look at his back legs, the underneath. If he is male he will have small bumbs/prods/spines what ever u want to call them on the underside of his back legs. females will have VERY small bumbs, or more commonly none. If u still dont know (i know from experience trying to sex a reptile can be confusing, and you just want a nice answer) take a picture of the underside of his legs. Put him on a piece of glass and have a friend lay down on ground and take a shot at his underside.

Does anything look wrong with him though? I checked and he had the "spines" going down both legs and connecing in the middle.

Sounds like he's a he. He looks ok to me, pretty healthy but needs some food, however, i am just one man. Make sure his tail is fat (height wise/thickness). a fat tail = lots of fat = healthy. As you probably know, the best information is that which is learned through MANY sources. Never take one person's advice, make sure many others agree.

Hey, finally got it hunh? Thats great, I'm glad, oh and your mali looks real nicely colored.

Probalby have to get a vent shot to sex it.
