I used to come to this forum a few years ago when I had THOR but now I have a bearded dragon and goto that forum....I have a friend who wants to build a custom enclosure for his ig but he just wants to get a few ideas and needs some visuals to help out...If anyone could post a pic it would be appreciated and there will be no copying....It's just to get a general idea of what works and what doesn't...Thanks!!

This is Tempest's enclosure, its just over 7' high, 5.5' long and 4.5' deep. The bottom 2 feet provide storage, and the floor is plywood and an old dark room sink, which one day will be a pool for him. Its not well decorated in this pic, its gotten more creative since. Up top, is a grill that his heat lamps sit on, and his UVB lights are screwed into the top. He has a permanent heater in there, the lights are on timers, and the UVB lights are controlled by the switches on the outside. I find this enclosure very good for him, esp since it was made out of plywood, my parents old kitchen cupboards, my old sliding kitchen window and another old window!

Here are my ig's enclosures. They are 5'wide by 3'deep by 6 1/2'

My adult ig is small for her age and my baby just turned 1 year
so they are of sufficient size for now.

Here's my cage for Sid, an adult iguana of unknown age I rescued a few months ago. I've added a lot to it since this picture's been taken, such as a huge branch and paving stones for him to bask on.

Here's the one we're building for Xander. It's in progress, obviously, but it's easy enough to see the direction we're going with it. The whole top and front is being covered in hardware cloth, and the bottom will be covered with linoleum. Then we'll figure out the inside.
