A dent in the eye...

Antegy Jul 03, 2004 08:51 AM

Hello all,

My burm has, on his right eye, a small indentation that has been there for about a month now. It is even still there although he just shed about a week ago.

I imagine that this must be incredibly uncomfortable, to say the least.

Does anyone know how I may help to fix his eye?

Thanks for any advice,
- Mark

My Ball python had that to, and it took a couple months.

Could the dent be caused by an old shed that hasnt come off yet? I know of a ball python that had several eye sheds that didnt come off until he got proper treatment. If it is an old shed, or possibly one, you might try soakin him, to see if he can get it to come off.

I would also raise the humidity levels up to around 80% for a week or two. If the environment is to dry it may cause the eyes to dent in. Try this for about a week or so and see if there is any imporvement. Todd
