Well I was able to get him into not my regular reptile vet seeing as he was on vacation but to another one that I found thanks to the link Lele provided(thanks Lele). It appears to be articular gout just as I thought =(. The vet was extreamly impressed with my setup and my care for the animal she didnt even charge me for the x-rays. Thankfully the gout is very minimal. We have yet to determine the cause of this I am cutting back on his supplementation. The vet does know that the gout was not caused by inadaquit hydration, humidity or husbandry. The only thing she can think of is either genetic kidney failure or too much protien in the diet. She doesnt think that its the kidneys though. The cham is not on any meds she thought it would be too extreme for how minimal the gout is. In 2 weeks if it worsens(if thats even a word) and doesnt get better we may go the route of surgery to remove the crystals. He also doesnt seem to be affected by the gout its in his left rear knee, as he walks just like normal chameleons do and his grip is just as strong in that leg as any other and when he was gently palpitated in the knee by the vet he didnt even react as if it was painful.
