I clean mine about every two weeks if no mess is made. I clean it right away if my snake poops or knocks over the water dish. I use green reptile carpet so its not hard to clean at all.

Once a month. I use aspen mulch and I can clean the poop as they go.
I make sure that I get clean up their poop and all the wet mulch then put in replacment mulch .At the end of the month I do a realy good cleaning job.

Bi-weekly. I check for anything to spot clean daily (with colubrids around, it happens more often), change water daily. Every other weekend everything is bleached, washed, changed, etc.

I use newspaper, so it is a lot easier for me to clean. I clean real good every month, and every time my snake I change the newspaper, and rinse her off.

To clean, I take everything out, and spray down the cage with a 5% bleach 95% water solution, and let it set for about 5-10 minutes. Then I rinse the cage out with scalding hot water about 3-4 times. Then I let it dry and put all the stuff, and the newspaper, and my snake back in. I soak my snake in the tube while I do all this. This seems to work for me really well.
