Hi. This is what i did. Dig up your eggs and candle them. This means that you must hold them with a light behind them to see if there is anything there. If they are fertile then a sure sign is the presence of veins in the eggs. If you do have any sign of veins you must incubate your eggs at around 83 - 85 degrees and you should haver them hatch anything between 50- 75 days. If you think they may be infertile i would still give them a try as if they are then you would know when they go a funny colour and moldy. Hope this helps. Is this the first clutch that your beardie has ever had?? Its just that if they are the first clutch they sometimes are infertile but give it a go!!

You can't always see veins right away on your eggs. I always take all the eggs and put them in an incubator, unless they are flattened. You can usually tell within a few days to a week which ones look goo and which ones are bad. You can candle them more readily afetr a few days.

yeah. When i candled mine it was after about 6 days or so. I put mine straight in the incubator, fertile or not. It was the first clutch of eggs i had ever had and so i didnt really know what to do. I asked in the forum and someone told me to candle and look for veins. As i said before, even if you think they could be infertile i would always give them a try as if they are infertile you will know within a week or two anyway. My eggs are 4 weeks old in the incubator now and you can see the size difference and how they have grown just in that short space of time. I am a little impatient and cant wait for the little fellas to pop out. It seems to me to be so rewarding when you see them hatch and grow. I hope yours are fertile and you produce some great babies. I just wish that over here in England we had the great colours that you have in america. I have seen some morphs that look brilliant and i would l;ove to have but over here it is hard to find beardies with any colours in them, maybee a few with a bit of orange on there faces but thats about it. Do you know anyone with any pics of this new transparent morph i keep hearing about??
