im interested in building an all acrylic cage but i have never worked with acrylic or plexiglass before. i want to know what tools to use and how to cut the sheets of acrylic and how to glue them and also how to make that door in the front. Are there any sites out there that show how this is done? can somoeone explain it to me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am in the process of building acrylic and wood cages. Like you, I have not worked with acrylic before, but after some research I decided that because I am not skilled in cutting I would take the sheet to a local glass shop for cuts, since I am working with 3/8 sheet and it is not cheap. Fortunately, I was able to buy precut sections on Ebay for fairly reasonable, but do not want to have to master the skill of acrylic cutting on these. I am getting special drills for acrylic; and the glue I have found is IPS Weld-on #16 for acrylic sheet.
