Well, ya got the great substrate debate out of the way, that's a good start.

I guess the next most important thing I'd mention is diet. A good, healthy, proper diet is so important. I'm sure you've already studied up but it doesn't hurt repeating.
-Your baby will need lots of crickets, I recommend ordering them online, it will save lots of money and trips to the pet store. Also gutloading your crickets is important. I feed my crickets on the same foods I feed the lizards... greens, pellets, plus oranges or potatoes for moisture.
-Offering fresh salads on a daily basis is also important. Your baby may not eat them at first, but this will be a critical part of his diet later so the sooner you get him used to them, the better. Bookmark this website and visit the Nutrition Content section to learn about what types of foods to use in the salads. I reference it every time I think of trying a new food item on them. www.beautifuldragons.com/

Then of course there are calcium and multivitamin suppliments, UVB and such. I'm not gonna go on like a broken record cuz I'm sure you know, but if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Let's see, calcium sand = bad, fireflies = bad, large prey items = bad...... yeah I think we've covered the most important things.

I think for the most part you've done your research very well and your new dragon will be in good hands.
