Are my 4 month old tincs "making out" in love shack?

markanthony Jun 20, 2003 04:47 PM

I have some 4 4-month old tincs. Every so often a small one and a large one go into my coconut love shack-usually at the same time, and stay there for quite a while. I assume they won't breed successfully for nearly a year, so are they up to anything? Has anyone noticed this behavior early in their frogs? I wouldn't think anything of it, except it is always the biggest and the smallest going in together....
Thanks for any info,
markanthony

They are probably just hiding or hanging out, when they start breeding you'll know it. They will chase each other all over the tank for hours. The male leading the way and the female will always be just behind him or trying to get to him.
