So I tried a new feeding method, in a kids pool just outside the enclosure. You guys got me on all P/K F/T feeding by now. I'm getting ready to go on leave so I want to feed him well for the 2 weeks I'll be gone. I started with a small rat and chased it with a chick for variety since I still have a few. The final course was my wife's pet, with her permission, humondo gigantosaurus male rat. It came out of the cage OK and I put it in a holding tank while my snake finished the chicken. When it came time for the P/K part I motioned toward the holding cage and this thing started screachin and buckin like a horse. It's in a 10 gallon aquarium so I now don't know how I'm gonna get him out. Moses is finishing the chick and jumbo gets loose in my living room. I start to chase the rat and Moses starts to leave the pool. I knew something was biting me today. I helped the snake crawl into his enclosure, flipped the couch, caught the rat, did the P/K thing and put it in the enclosure. My wife left the house because she didn't want to see her pet in a less than lifelike state, now Moses won't eat it. Man! What to do, what to do! I left him alone and the feet were disappearing just as momma came home. We packed our things and started our leave.
Now I know some of you feed in the cagers are gonna yell at me but I just had to tell that story. Thanx for readin, I feel better now.
