Best Beginner Tegu???

cv768 Jul 04, 2004 12:39 AM

Well we've been keeping our iguana and monitor fine without problems and wondered if maybe it's time for a tegu! I really like the look of some of them but I guess my question is...

What's everyone's favourite tegu? and or the best beginner tegu...unless they are all relitively the same...also if you could include the average size that would be great.

Just depends. They're all pretty equal in terms of care. Columbians are probably the only ones I'd say stay away from.

Blues supposedly don't need any fruit. Black and Whites need a little, and reds need a lot more. Other than that, they're all pretty similar (Some variations in size, too.)
