Wouldn't she be a type of python? I thought boas were from the americas and pythons from the "other continents", at least thats what I've deduced from the areas all the boas I've seen are from and the areas all the pythons I've seen are from. What is the truth of this matter?
Need to study snake's !Boa's are from all over the World. You got Sand Boa's from Africa (Kenyan Sand Boa),Boa's from Madagascar (The Dumeril's Ground Boa)(Madagascan Tree Boa)(Madagascan Ground Boa)Madagascar is an Island off the East Coast of Africa. You got the Pacific Island Boa's From Indonesia a lot of different kind's of Boa's on the South Pacific Island's .You got the (Rough Scaled Sand Boa) from Asia, and the (Jamaican Boa) from Jamaica. The only Python found in the New World is in Mexico and it is called the (New World Python) and there not sure if it is truly a Python.

LOL! Thats what I meant! I haven't taken interest in those as of yet and I did forget about the sand boa. So it is obvious you know more than me about the world of snakes.
the new world python was taken out of the boid family because of the fact it was found in the new world and wasnt a boa species
What's it's new name ?
