I hope no one is getting tired of my bairdi pics 'cause I have another one.
I thought this one turned out pretty good.

I'm definitely no advocate of modern art, but without the heads and tails of the snakes showing and with all the interesting shades, colors, shapes and patterns that picture has, you might want to try getting that accepted as art.
It would make a great wall photo on a larger than life scale (no snake pun intended).
Great shot.

>>Hey John,
THANKS.
When I saw how well that photo turned out I was definitely pleased.
My wife is going to take it and have it blown up, mated and framed for my birthday.
She's cool...lol
thanks again

a smart businessman could make more and easier money selling reptile art than selling the animals themselves. I've always felt that there is a very strong aesthetic component to the herp hobby. Look at how people go for the gaudier colored morphs and species. I'm sure that you shutterbugs are already well aware of this without my mutterings, but I guess I've never really thought that much about it until now. I wonder how my wife would feel about an asian ratsnake gallery in the living room!!
Yo, Jimmy, please tell us what camera you used to take that stunning shot.

Hey DG,
I used a Nikon CoolPix 3100.
3.2 meg with 3x optical zoom.
I killed my Mavica so I had to buy a new camera.
It seems to be a decent mid range digital camera.
I'm enjoying it.
