Vet Visit

sscobrapride Jun 20, 2003 05:53 PM

How much does a vet visit usually cost? WHat do I need to know to go to the vet? Do I need to bring anything? Can anyone recommend a good vet in central Indiana? THX in advance.

Vets who do exotics usually charge $35-40 for the visit and fecal exams are about $15, which are recommended if your herp never had one. If the vet is even remotely competent, he will ask you basic husbandry questions, i.e. what are you housing him in, what's his diet, what do you use as heat/light source, etc.

Sorry, don't know any vets in Indiana. Hope the above info is useful, tho!
