what would happen if u gave a lizard "coral calcium?"

I am pretty sure that corals build their shell out of regular old Calcium carbonate, but I think there's also lots of magnesium, strontium, molebendenum, etc in there. But that stuff is super horrible for the coral reef ecosystem. Ripping corals out and smashing them to bits, just for some new fad dietary supplement...I personally wouldn't buy the stuff just for that reason.
