They said it was a curly tailed...

When we purchased this lizard from the pet store, they had it marked as a curly tailed lizard. We've had it for a week or 2 and it has YET to even begin to curl it's tail. From the pic's I've seen on the web, it doesn't even remotely resemble a CT lizard. It's shedding right now, but when it's done, the back legs are going to be a bright green, with blue/green dots on it's side. It has orange markings under each eye, and yellow markings over each eye. It has a very small dorsal ridge (spiny). Can anyone help with this?

I don't have a pic right now, but I'm working on it. The digital camera puked on me.

Hello:
What you have described definitely sounds like an Ornate Curly-Tail Lizard (Leiocephalus Schreibersi). They don't often carry their tails in a curling position. That behavior is usually seen in free roaming lizards running across the ground.
Have A Great Day!!!
