Indo blue web/footed gliding tree frog

xcrashx21 Jul 05, 2004 10:05 AM

I recently saw this indo blue frog for sale and am interested in purchasing him. I have been searching for care sheets for him and cannot seem to find any. They resemble a red-eye tree frog as far as size and looks just different colors. If anyone has any info or sights it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

First of al I do not know what you currently keep but this is NOT a beginner frog. It is a pretty hard frog to keep. you can check out www.mascarino.com. She actually breeds these guys and has some care on them.

The biggest thing with these guys is they need ALOT of space AND they need it to be VERY clean. They environment needs to be perfect. Also the humidity has to be very precise. They do not tolerate alot of humidity they devlop problems.

I had a trio of them and have since lost 2 of them. Even though I was so careful with their care.

If you have kept other frogs before and are up to the challenge they are a beautiful frog. Good luck

Thanks. Currently I have one albino pacman, 4 white's, one green, one mossy grey, and five fire bellies. All which have been doing great. I've been looking for a more challenging frog. Thank you.

the only other suggestion I would make is to see if where you are getting them from are CB. It really does make a difference with some of these more delicate frog species. If you go to mascarino, hers are cb and she takes very good care of them. She sent them to me with a 5 page care sheet. They are more expensive but you get what you pay for.

Good luck

I would have to agree, Mascarinos frogs are the best. I have had mine for about 2 years now with no trouble at all. That said they are not generally an easy frog to keep.
