Feeding Hatchling JCP.

tjw Jul 05, 2004 11:52 AM

Hi, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on getting hatchling JCP starting. This is my first for breeding of this species and I started out thinking these babies should be easy. They are aggressive and will strike but will not hold on or take a live pink left with them. Is there a trick that I am missing? This breeding was a lot of fun and the babys look very good, but its been two weeks after there first shed and I want to get a meal down them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

First off, Are they all in different cages or in the same? Second, if they in different cares, do they feel secure? are the pinkies too small? Im sure you know that a carpet will eat, eat, eat, non-stop. Woth babies just make them feel secure, and I suggest Rat pups depending on the size of your hatchlings, in another 4 weeks they will shed again if not sooner. THe only thing its a pinky leave it in the cage and leave the room, and check on them.
