Hi there:
I want to be a herpetologist, have a reptile zoo, and make nature films with my brother. The other day we were in a manshion garden. I had been watching the five-lined skinks scurry cautiously around the stone wall, when my mother called for us to come over to a shrub. Coiled below it, soaked in the warm rays of the sun, was a gorgeous 5 1/2 foot long black rat snake. My brother began to film it, as I approached it and picked it up. The snake was very docile. It did not attempt to bite, but thrashed around strengthfully, and opened its mouth and drooled. It was the most beautful snake. Very thick, and even at that age it remained sleek and glossy. I released the very heavy snake back into the brush. I haven't seen it again since then, but I am loading some pictures...
