they are westron bulbs (the best there are) and were designed with the aid of BobMac, probably THE authority in the field. He works mostly with Igs in large enclosures and was looking for long lasting powerfull MVB. He has been testing them for some time now and as far as I am concerned his word is gospel on UV lighting. You can also get more info from the UV lighting use group at yahoo. I will probably be making a switch over at some point myself when I use up my Reptisun 5 stock (assuming i can get them to heat the vision cages)
