breeding

If i was to take a regulare phase female and an albino male, they would produce albino hets.Right? then if i took the babies and bred them with the father the offspring would be albinos, right? and would that inbreeding cause any weaknesses to the babies?

Breeding an albino to a normal will give you hets (unless the normal is already a het... hard to tell unless you breed her). Breeding hets back to the father should give you 50% albino, 50 % hets.

Hets

___|_____|_____|
a | Aa | aa |
---|---------- |
a__|_Aa__|__aa_|

| Normal Hets
Albino

Sorry for the poor diagram.

As for the weakening of the species... this is a whole can of worms so I won't go into depth. I, personally, believe that one or two inbreeding is fine. More then that and I say you're weaking the species (indicated by kinked dails, deformed eyelids, blindness, ect). I don't really want to argue the issue here but those are my beliefs and, from what I've read, somewhat agreeded upon as symptoms of inbreeding.
