spinach identification

gk Jul 05, 2004 07:21 PM

Some of my torts get a commercial salad. I try to remove all the spinach, but when the stem is missing I'm not certain I'm getting the job done--seems to look very much like some of the other greens. Is there an easy way to identify spinich even when it's fragmented? Tnx.

I wouldn't freak out on a little bit of anything. Tons of
spinach you don't want to feed because it's diuretic (water loss)
but a little here and ther shouldn't be a problem. I don't think
any one thing is harmful as long as it's just part of a larger
variety.
