I hand feed the pellets to my dragons (I have 3)every night. I soak them in water, apple juice, orange juice etc. I put their greens in the cage on a plate every morning but they are so spoiled being hand fed they don't eat much of their greens unless I feed it to them.
Yep I soak in a warm water or juice, then let cool, then it goes with their veggies. chris
My adults don't like the pellets at all. I tried many differant kinds too. When I did try it, I usaully did the same as you. I would soak them and mix them in the salad. Some times they would get a couple by accident. But if I put them in alone they wouldn't touch it at all. If they did they would spit them out. Could you imagine a spoiled dragon that would spit out the pellets? Crazy but true. Hope you have better luck then me.
Mine will eat their pellets alone or with salad they don't care how it comes as long as it goes in their mouth. The one trick I think with the pellets is startting them very young, I think the best experience is starting out with Bruiser already being used to pellets. I also have found my beardies only like rep-cal pellets, I did try the T-rex pellets because they at the time were handier to get but Bruiser and Alice both snubbed their noses at them.
I soaked them in hot water until soft then set them in the cages. The two younger dragons usually come running, and the older one eats when he decides to walk over to his food dish.

just was curious if someone did something different, my guys eat em, but ya know, they are kinda boring =P
I just put a bunch in my hand and give it to them straight like that. They all run over and eat right out of my hand. For the babies and sub adults I put the pelets in a seperate dish. They eat them with out being mixed.
peace,
nathan
