Correction to previous post.....

In the final paragraph, it should read that we have yet to see a young green that would not switch over from chicks to rats. We have never found that starting young greens on chicks ever causes a problem with them feeding on rodents later on. Thanks,

Kelly

How about after a year lol. still have to tie small rats to chicks...and I feed very rarely since that is one big meal. The scneted mice were going well for a little while. I am sure she will switch so I have no worries, at least she eats. now for temper...I do not know the background of this girl but she looks great and I was told came from a 15 ft female pet. but she has a super calm disposition which took a little under one week of handling to come about. As for letting them be aware of the surrounding, I can take my green directly out of a hide with never any trouble and she seems to care less of the outside world unless she is eating...but the yellows, absolutely...I just changed water and picked up the female and she was startled and bumped me with her nose and when I changed the males he came out of the hide and seemed very interested in my hand and followed it very aggressively around the cage so I removed it and waited until he recognized it as a big hand and not a few small mice jk. just my experiences today...thought I would add.
