Hypo refers to hypo melanistic which means reduced dark pigment. True hypo melanistic beardies have clear nails and usually show little dark coloration throughout their body. I attached a photo of my HypoPastel x "Leucistic" female. This is her darker coloration and she becomes lighter than this. Hard to see... but her nails are clear and her shoulder pads are very light.

The leucistics on the market aren't really true leucistics because they do show a little bit of color (some show very little). I'm not a genetics person, so if anyone wants to jump in with a more detailed answer feel free.
