Maui Info...

Obediah2 Jul 05, 2004 10:57 PM

I'm headed for Maui in a few days (I know I live a tough life) and I've heard that there are Jackson's and Veiled Chameleons there. I know I can't bring anything home, but I have never seen either one of these before and I was wondering if anyone had any insight into how I would go about seeing/photographing one. Any help would be great, but if no one knows I guess I'll just try to have some fun there anyway

If you're visiting Hawaii, you can obtain a permit to import up to 4 (I think) Jacksons. Not exactly sure how many, nor where to obtain the permit. I'm pretty sure you have to obtain the permit once you're in Hawaii though. There are people here who might be willing to help you with the info. Or just do a quick google search.
Have a nice trip, Hawaii is quite warm this time of year.
