Today I took Don Henley and Sausage girl outside for the first time. They were moving A LOT faster than they do inside and werent using their legs like they do inside. They were zooming around and Don got under the neighbor's fence, when I grabbed him out of the bush he opened his mouth hissing and showing his not very blue tongue. Don was always more nervous with pooping and hissing. So I put Don away and had Sausage out. She is a sweetie only letting out the occasional hiss. She was also zooming around in the grass. I confronted her with the camera and she opened her mouth and hissed. This made for some hopefully great pics. When I picked her up she only hissed a little bit. No one really tried to bite me but they seemed a little bit more aggresive than usual. Personally, if I don't get bit I don't mind the act but I was worried that takin them out may be too stressful. I have heard about it with Iggys and Water Dragons. I think they are having fun. What are your thoughts.

Ya they can tend to do that. The sunlight and large expanses tend to bring out the 'wild' in them. It sounds like they may have been scared too. Were there alot of birds around? What about alot of cars? That sounds like what it was. My iggy gets that way too.

My guy just gets a little "puffy" (not really a hiss, just a closed-mouth expelling of air) when I take him back inside after being out. He sure cruises around a lot, so it seems like it's good for him, if for no other reason than the exercise...
