I JUST went to feed my tree boas and the other snakes I feed twice a week. I thawed out their mice in warm water and when I held it up to one amazon tree boa...he started drinking the water that dripped off the nose of the mouse and had no intention of eating it. I pulled it away and kept trying and even held it further away from him and he just kept coming up to it and drinking the water. I finally waved my bare hand by him and wiggled my fingers to make him mad and he got in a defensive position so then when I intro duced the mouse he went for it (I actually think he is going for me and hits mouse first and realizes its food so he coils, the only way I can ever get him to eat if from my bare hand).
