When you purchased the deluxe starter kit were you able to create a water feature in your vivarium, and do you use a "false bottom" viv? Also, what kind of lighting do you use for your plants and Dart Frogs. Last, did you need to purchase anything else along with the kit?
Thanks,
Travis

Travis,

This was one of the first dart frog tanks i set up when i purchased the kit. I did create a water area by using plexi glass and sectioning off an area, i did not use a false bottom so i siphon out the water every other day b/c otherwise it becomes stagnant.. For lighting i went to petsmart and bought a 15 watt flouresent UV lamp which simulates natural daylight and can be used for live plants. You can buy them in a fixture or just as the bulb. Yes, i did purchase additional items, i bought two extra pieces of cypress wood, i believe the kit comes w/ one but i bought extra for future tanks. And i bought tree fern fiber which aids in drainage and aeration for wetter environments.Good luck e-mail at amphibianfreak@yahoo.com if you have any more questions.
