AHHH, Keith, it's a trick question, right? Leads us right back to the discussions of "normal" sizes and whether captive animals are bigger/smaller than they "USED TO BE".
without going there, i have observed that--generally speaking--males stay smaller than females. This male is 23 months old and 441 grams, that's average or a little more than average for my males at that age. I find hypos tend to grow faster than others--in general, and based on my limited experience.

LOL No trick question Terry I just have never heard of any big Hypo Hondurans. Of course Im sure they can be out there and Im also sure someone will post that they have three 5' animals in their snake rooms right now. A number of years ago I ran the reptile/fish dept for a specialty pet store and I got in a 6' Honduran. This snake was a monster, it was a Tri color and had a head on it like a Buick. I was gonna keep it for myself so I did the ol' mark it up so high nobody would want it trick but I guess 300 bucks wasnt high enough as it sold in 10 minutes ! This snake was a 10 year old CB longterm pet I guess . Just curious if there any big Hondurans out there as nothing would be more impressive than a 6' Hypo Honduran (excpet maybe a really clean 6' reg Honduran lol).
Terrific seeing all that beautiful red / yellow red I love so much.
