New to FBNs with a couple questions

Xandras_Zoo Jul 06, 2004 05:53 PM

Hello!
I've recently purchased a FBT (Fred) and an FBN (George). They're living together. The toad doesn't show any aggression toward they newt, and they're in a 20 gallon. Infact, they don't come in contact with eat other much, and I feed my toad lots. Do I still have to worry about the toad eating the newt?

I need some ideas for an interesting aquarium! Mine is very boring. It's got blue and green gravel and a jungle background, and a waterfall and a plant that hangs. What do the critters like? What should I give them to make them happier?

Could I breed my toad or newt (with another of the same speicies, of course)? How do I tell the difference between a girl and a boy? What's a baby newt called?

Do you guys know of any good links on the care of either the FBN or FBT?

TYIA,
Alexandra

There could be problems with them living together. See:
