I got an Eastern Spiny softshell-keeping his water very clean as instructed-but I'm not overly familiar with keeping them and he has what looks like a fungus on his shell-what should I do?

we have no herp vets in the area.

He's active and eating.

thanks in advance.

u can try using a q-tip to take off the major part of it. and the rest should go by it self. if not u need a vet...
good luck
