Interested In A Tortise In New York City

bxherp Jul 06, 2004 09:02 PM

Hi. I am interested in buying a tortise. I live in new york city and in apartment. I have some wood left over from a recent project and I would like a to build a five by three foot pen for it. I am really interested in them and have done my research. I have a few breeds in mine such as Greeks, hermans, and pancakes. By the way I also have some heat lamps and the lamp that provides the sunlight (sorry I can't remmeber the term for it at the moment)for the tortise. I have some experience with herps. I have had water turtles before and I have a few snakes. Let me know of your opinion and what you think. Thanks in advance.

if you check the classified sections you can find some of the torts you listed. Look for a person named Larry. He is from NYC and he has pancakes or at least he did.

Good luck
Christina
