I got my first jungle carpet python. She is 8 months old and very nippy. She'll seem like she's getting better and wont bite for a couple days and then reverts back. Do you think if we keep handling her every day she will grow out of this? Also I would like to know thier aprox. girth as an adult. I heard anywere from a corn size to a Bermise. Don't worry about the nipping thing, Thats normal of almost every baby carpet and yes they all grow out of it, well most do. The size thing, A monster carpet is consider to be a monster at or around 11 foot with a 1Liter bottle as a thickness. THey are a lot longer then they are wide, very slender snake. Carpet being as big as a burm, lol only a dwarf burm and even then the dwarf is bigger.
Jungles are the smallest carpet, being about 5-6 ft and having a small girth of around a small water bottle (12 oz)

I agree except that Irian Jaya Carpets are actually the smallest with the average around 4ft and a max of 6ft.

Here is a pic of my 7ft Coastal Male. To give perspective he's perched on one half of a cat carrier. If you need better perspective I'll get you a better pic tonight...
