I have a 26 inch blackthroat that I took to the vet to get treated for parasites. The treatment is almost over and he is doing a lot better. I want to make sure that he continues to be healthy. I feed him freshly killed mice and crickets (mainly so he can enjoy the hunt.) I know that mice and crickets can harbor parasites that are not good for my guy. Frozen mice is not an option for me since my wife does not want frozen mice in her freezer.
Has anyone used Parazap for prevention of parasites or to help a monitor over come them. I have heard conflicting info on Parazap and can not find out what the ingredence are. Is there anything else I can do other than keep his enclosure and water clean to prevent him from getting parasites again?
