How often should the moss be changed? I do boil the moss before using it, but they do have a smell when they're still 'fresh', and my leos won't go in their humid hide until the smell is gone which probably takes about a week of misting and heating.

I used to change the moss every 3 months, too long?

I don't boil mine? But every cage cleaning I rince it throughly through with water then replace it. I also change mine completly out every month. Mine are in and out of it all the time they really use it quite often.
