They only get to about 20 inches long, smaller night snakes eat insects, but believe it or not their are skinks and lizards out there of which it can overpower and eat. They are nocturnal, hence the name night snake, so attempt to feed it at night. Give it a natural looking set up, a dester like habitat in a tank and put a few small lizards or skinks in with it. It is midly venomous, but it is also rearfanged, therefore you are in no danger. They also eat salamanders, snakes, frogs and small mice. But I think you would get the best feeding response from a small lizard.

They are pretty awesome, also another snake of which regal ringnecks often make a meal of.

In the July issue of Reptiles Magazine, there is a pretty cool pic of a night snake eating a gecko.

Yep, I saw it. I got mine in yesterday and I looked at it for ever. While we are still on the reptiles magazine topic, I saw a little article with you in it about ringnecks. I don't know what month or year it was because I lost the cover and many other pages in it.

Yeah I know. And they included a really bad picture with that article. A very unhealthy looking northern ringneck by 2 eggs.

Hey did any more of your animals lay eggs again? It seems they lay eggs left and right at your house. Musk turtles, mud turtles, ringnecks, racers, box turtles, where does it end?
