clicking noise

rynwilliams Jul 07, 2004 12:23 PM

My ATB seems to be making a clicking noise every now and then it also puffs its throat up when it makes it, does any body have any idea what could be causing this or is it normal?

It's got a Respiratory Infection (URI),If you can hear crackling/gurgling/raspy sound when he's trying to breath he's got a (RI),other sighn's are open mouth breathing, excess of mucus in the mouth, and if he's holding his head elevated and there's a bulge in his throat that's a pocket of mucus forming , If he has (RI)he should be quarantined.it will spread to other snake's,for now elavate your temp's hot side 90 to 95 degree's,untill you can get him to a Vet.Good Luck !
Have A Good One ! !
