parasite treatment for African Clawed Frog

harpgrrl Jul 07, 2004 12:42 PM

Hi,
I just found out that my froggies have not had a virus and instead have a parasite that they got from the snails in the tank. The Fish place where I purchased my cute guys from said it was ok, but now I have the cold reality of a dead frog and an infected frog. I have called Big Apple Herp and looked at a lot of websites which say to just put the frog down.

Does anyone know of a cure or where I can get it asap?

I am waiting before putting Jaws down....but I think the parasite are in his head, so it is pretty hopeless.

thank you for your help
