What is your beef with Matt & Justin? Since when should someone be told to go away when they are posting pics and sharing info? They haven't tried to sell anything or use these forums for anything but sharing.

What's your deal?

by him posting the pet store pics and by me replying asking about the cost of the monitors pictured and where the shop was, he may of assumed it was advertisement as i did but Matt cleared that up and i'd like to appologize to him for my assumption and inquiry because i do understand like he does that these forums are not for that purpose and hope that i had nothing to do with he and Andrews misunderstanding.

A lot of people on here have been keping varanus for so long that they think they're better then everyone else, or don't read the post because they've been on this forum/other forums so long, they just assume what the contents of a post are, and therefore don't read them, and then get on the poster's case. I know not everyone is like that, but I have witnessed it a number of times in the short time I've been on this forum. I think this is unnacceptable. If you think you're too good/don't have enough time, then go away and hatch out some more instead of getting on someones case.

it was actually a misunderstanding (i hope). i certainly do not think i am too good to answer peoples questions, or to learn, etc.

yes, i have been here a few years, but that really means nothing. others that i really like have not been here forever, but they have a lot of good input or ask good questions that make me think and learn.

also, this forum is for fun and when someone asks a question such as how much a monitor costs and posts a pic of it and says that they can't believe it hasn't sold, and talks it up it is not too much to assume that it was advertising. i admit, i was probably wrong.

also, a lot of people here rightfully have presuppositions about pet shops, not that i condone presuppositions but they are a fact of life.

so, matthew and justin, i apoligize
