Bedding...

I know this has been asked a 1,000 times, but i just moved and just can't remember. OK, I use Aspen for my mice which i use to feed my Balls. I fed most of my colony to my snakes before moving. Now i am in Florida and need to buy mice and the Pet Store keeps their mice in Pine bedding. I can't remember if Pine is no good or if only Cedar is bad.

If Pine is no good, is the a waiting period where i can put the mice in my Aspen and then they can be fed to my Balls. Help is need soon on this one. Thank you... John

Cedar is toxic to reptiles. There are people on the forum that say pine is toxic also. I don't agree. I have used pine bedding for many years for my snakes without any problems. Use aspen now only because of price. One of the petshops I sometimes buy feeder at also use pine bedding. Because of my never having a problem with pine bedding with my snakes, I have no waiting period. Just bring them home, wack em and feed em.
