reply to a post but not actually reply.

Open a post and click on reply and in the reply window you will see a "search" link just above your subject. Click on that link and you can have your search criteria set to search the forum you're in or all forums. You can also have the search criteria set to look at the thread body, author, subject or everything.

The only drawback to this is I dont' think it goes back in time more than about 6 months or so.

A while ago I emailed one of the moderators and tried to explain to them how important it was to be able to search a particular forum and they agreed and said eventually they'd like to have a search engine that can do that.

At that time they never mentioned this "trick". I just happened to see it one day when I replied to a post. Why they don't put this capability with the regular search function I don't understand. It's almost as if they don't want you to find this function. I've even gone into the help and faq area and the search function they describe does not exist unless I'm just blind and can't seem to find it.

They indicate there is a [search this forum] link and it's just not there. I'm going email them again and try to figure out what's going on. In my opinion the search function is one of the most important functions on a forum such as this one.

My pool service keeps the pool balanced with minimal chemicals. I can open my eyes underwater and never get red eye or burning. chems are added on Wed and when my animals go in it's usually on weekends. When tested against tap water the amount of clorine is the same or less and the PH level is actually better. This is not the case for every pool of course.

The answer is really kind of iffy? I'm not saying you are wrong, because you aren't.
Sounds like your pool is ok and tested, but a lot of people don't have a pool guy and do it themselves....That's the part that worries me. I know they are "supposed" to test it too, but....??
I've been in pools that burned my eyes and I didn't even go under the water.
I guess my point is an over all answer of "yes", could be harmful. I have no proof that it is, but beardies are pretty chemically sensative.
