Hello, I was at my uncles house about 3 weeks ago a caught a few tadpoles.. he told me that there were to many in his lake and I wasnt allowed to put them back it... So i brought them home and kept them in an aquarium outside... anywyas this is my first one who has become fully evolved... Can anyone tell me what kind of frog he might be(i live in Victoria BC Cananda) and what kind of living conditions he needs.. he doesnt seem to want to be in water any more...

Aw! It's so adorable!

I really wouldn't have a clue as to what types of frogs are in Canada. But here is how I found out what my frogs were-

Online Search engines. Type something in like, "native frog species canada" Or go to your local library and look up books on amphibians, frogs, tadpoles... anything related.

I'm sorry I can't help much more, but by the pictures I CAN tell you two things:

1) It is a tree frog, (which is why it doesn't want to be in the water) Try a terrarium with the proper environment
2)You need to catch its own food since he is so small. It's either that or find a store that sells pinheads. I was forced to give up my first raised-tadpoles since no where anywhere near sold pinheads.
