I'm pretty sure that Miami's, Classics, and Okattees are locality color phases and not a genetic trait. So, they are really just nice "normal" Corns. Hypo, I believe is a genetic trait so if you breed a Hypo male to a Classic, Okattee, or Miami corn, you should end up with all normals(although they may look like Miamis, Okattees, Classics) and they all will be het for Hypo. If you breed those Hypo hets back to each other you should end up with some nice Hypos in your clutches. I'm pretty sure that Crimsons are really just Hypo Miami's or Hypos with a Miami influence in them. If you breed a Hypo Okattee to a Hypo Miami, you should end up with all nice hypos. When I think of my combinations when it comes to my Crimsons, Miami's or Okattees, I always consider them "normal" this way it is easier to predict what should occur in their clutches. I hope I was right on this one, this is how I have been planning my animals and it seems to be accurate. I have a pair of Crimsons het for Stripe and Amel that are gravid. I am hoping to produce Striped Crimsons( which are really just Striped Hypo Miami's or "normals"
but may also produce Amel Stripes as well and a combo of hets for Amel and Hypo from that breeding. I hope I helped you out and didnt confuse you. Mike Panichi
