wasps (continued)

chamsrcool Jun 20, 2003 09:10 PM

for anyone who even cared my cham is fine he "passed it" this morning....try to eat another this after noon but i wouldn't let him.

I did find out that every single one that flys around his basking bush outside does not have a stinger .....unless the stinger is really small i think youd be able to see it when you get close to one while it is sun bathing.

anywas i found that the chams secret to to move as fast as possible ....i have never seen him move so fast.

he was at one side of the bush and suddenly he was on the other side(3 feet way) shooting his tongue at another wasp...i had twisers this time and pulled the back off the wasp before he ate it.

BLAH BLAH BLAH...

anyways the first chomp kills the wasps

im done now.

Gee, you sound like no one cares we do - I assure you

As I noted in my response to you (previous thread) it is only the females that sting. Males do not, cannot sting. The stinger is a modified "ovi-positor" (the part of the insect that lays eggs).

I am glad he is OK - really
